Pointfest!

Today (May 18, 2008), we went to Pointfest. It's a concert put on by the local radio station, 105.7 the Point. This year was a little disappointing and the band I wanted to see most was placed on a secondary stage. So, even though we had awesome seat tickets, I only used them once just to see how close I would have been. Mawson still had a good time-even though we mostly walked around in the parking lot stage area. (: He was pretty amazed at our awesome seats too, but like me, was just as disappointed that we had to be so far away from the real action in the parking lot stage. However, we did get awesomely close to the band (Coheed and Cambria) for autographs!

(Sorry for crappy pictures. According to the website digital cameras were not allowed at the show, so I didn't bring mine. Unfortunately for me, it looked like everyone else brought theirs! I was mad.)

Chinese Culture Days

Today, we all went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens to enjoy the Chinese Culture Days Festival. There are shops, martial arts, acrobats, music, food, and more. Plus, the Botanical Gardens are really beautiful and there are lots of fun sculptures to look at and play on.

Here are just some of the pictures. The rest are on Photobucket. I also have some videos that I am going to try and upload somewhere as well.

*Mawson is in every picture-can you find him?*

St. Louis Mills Mall & Cabella's

After eating Mexican food for Cinco De Mayo, we went and walked around the St. Louis Mills Mall. The fun was at Cabella's, the hunting and fishing store.

Cinco De Mayo

OK, so this post is late...and we actually went out for Cinco De Mayo on May 3, but does it really matter? We had a really great time-Mawson might have had a little too much fun!

Hail Storm & TV Fun!

Hail doesn't show up too good in the pictures, but the white streaks/blurs you see on the pine tree is hail! It came down for about 2-3 minutes, then just stopped. Mawson thought that was pretty cool.

We also played some Mario Kart on the Wii-notice how Mawson has the safety strap attached. He's so smart! For whatever reason, pictures of the game did not come out, so I'll add some more later when I get them.

Finally, we relaxed with some TV, and watched the Price is Right Million Dollar Spectacular. All this happened on Wednesday, but unfortunately I am just getting to the post, so please ignore the date.
